Bienvenue!
En ce lendemain de mon élection au poste de Coordonatrice Régionale Afrique de BPW International 2008-2011, lors du Congrès de Mexico au mois d’Octobre dernier, il est un réel plaisir pour moi de m’adresser à vous chères Membres, Présidentes des Clubs et Fédérations pour vous dire toute ma joie et ma détermination à voir notre continent sortir de l’ornière.
Comme vous le savez déjà, le thème international “Le pouvoir de faire la différence » est d’actualité et nous interpelle toutes à plus d’un titre.
En effet, BPW est une organisation de femmes engagées, dans différents domaines d’activités et qui œuvrent de part le monde, en étroite collaboration avec les hommes, pour un statut juste et équitable des femmes à toutes les échelles sociales, afin qu’elles prennent leurs responsabilités dans tous les domaines pour un développement réel et durable dans un monde de paix.
Nous devons donc tout mettre en œuvre pour influencer les politiques et les gouvernants de nos pays afin d’améliorer les capacités, de développer le potentiel professionnel et le leadership des femmes pendant les trois prochaines années.
Cet objectif ne peut être atteint sans:
La création de cadre d’échanges entre les femmes BPW et les autres catégories de femmes
Le renforcement permanent des capacités dans le domaine économique, juridique, politique et social
Le "mentoring", le "lobbying" et le plaidoyer
La facilitation de l’accès des femmes à l’information, la formation et l’éducation
Pour mon mandat, je voudrais que nous puissions en Afrique:
mobilisation des membres danschaque pays autour du thème 2008-2011
Renforcer les Clubs existants et œuvrer à la création de Clubs dans les pays où ils n’en existent pas.
Organiser chaque année un congrès africain avec des ateliers techniques autours des thèmes souhaités par les membres.
Organiser une formation IDP
Ouvrer à améliorer les affaires et les capacités des professionnelles avec les stratégies de communication, le E-business, le positionnement sur le site Régional et International
Participer aux foires, aux réunions régionales et sous régionales
Participer aux taskforces au niveau et international
Préparer notre participation au congrès de BPW en Finlande 2011.

Dear Chairpersons of Clubs and Federations and Dear Members,
Following my election to the post BPW International Regional coordinator for Africa 2008-2011, during the Mexico Congress last October, I have the real pleasure to express to you members, Chairpersons of Clubs and Federations to tell you my joy and determination to ensure that our dear continent gets out of difficulties.
As you already know, the International theme “The power to make the difference” is very much topical and touches us all for several reasons.
In fact BPW is a body of committed women in various fields of activities that strive all over the world, in close collaboration with men for a just and equitable status for women at every social scale, to enable them take up their responsibilities in every area for a real and sustainable development in a peaceful world .
We must therefore strive to influence the policies and leaders in our countries in order to enhance capacities, develop the professional potential and women leadership during the next three years.
This objective cannot be attained without:
The creation of a framework of exchanges (information sharing) between BPW women and other categories or women.
Permanent capacity building in economic, judicial, political and social fields
The “mentoring”, the “lobbying” and the advocacy
The facilitating of women’s access to information, training and education
For my tenure, I would like us in Africa to be able to:
Mobilize members in each country around the 2008-2011 theme
Build up the capacities and existing clubs and strive for the creation of clubs in country wherethey do not exist
Organize each year an Africa Congress with Technical Workshops on themes desired by members
Organize an IDP training
Strive towards the betterment of businesses and capacities of professionals with communication strategies, the E-business, the poisoning on the regional and internationalwebsite
Attend trade fairs, regional and sub-regional meetings
Take part in taskforces at national and international levels
Prepare our attendance at the BPW Congress in Finland 2011.
